日本語を聞いて、

「だいたい意味は分かったけど、何について話していたか日本語で説明するのは難しい……」

と感じたことはありませんか？

今回の3週間日本語チャレンジでは、毎週日本語の音声を聞いて、聞いた内容を自分の言葉で要約し、さらに自分の感想や意見を書く練習をします！✍️

ただ日本語を「聞いて終わり」にするのではなく、

聞く 🎧 → 内容を理解する 💡 → 大切な情報をまとめる 📝 → 自分の考えを書く ✍️

ところまで挑戦します！

今回のチャレンジは、N3程度の中級レベルの方におすすめです🌱

🌻 3週間のテーマ

Week 1｜物語を聞く 📖

日本の昔話を聞いて、**「誰が・何をした・どうなった」**など、物語の大切なポイントをまとめます。

第1週は、日本の昔話**『笠地蔵』**に挑戦！

昔話らしいストーリーを楽しみながら、出来事を順番に整理して要約する練習をします。

最後に、物語を聞いて感じたことや、自分の考えも書いてみましょう。

Week 2｜ニュースを聞く 📰

日本のニュースや社会の話題を聞きます。

何が起きているのか、なぜ起きているのかなど、大切な情報を選んで短くまとめる練習をします。

そのあと、ニュースについて自分はどう思うのか、理由と一緒に書いてみましょう。

Week 3｜エッセイを聞く ✍️

最後は、あるテーマについてのエッセイを聞きます。

話の内容だけではなく、**「この人が一番伝えたいことは何だろう？」**と考えながら聞いてみましょう。

内容を要約したあと、そのテーマについて自分の経験や考えを書きます。

🎧 Listen, Summarize, and Write! 3-Week Japanese Challenge

Starting October 11! 🔥

Have you ever listened to Japanese and thought:

“I understand most of it, but it’s difficult to explain in Japanese what they were talking about…”

In this 3-week Japanese Challenge, you’ll listen to Japanese audio every week, summarize what you heard in your own words, and then write your own thoughts and opinions about it! ✍️

Instead of just listening and stopping there, you’ll practice the whole process:

Listen 🎧 → Understand the content 💡 → Summarize the key information 📝 → Write your own thoughts ✍️

This challenge is recommended for intermediate learners around the N3 level. 🌱

🌻 Themes for the 3 Weeks

Week 1｜Listen to a Story 📖

You’ll listen to a traditional Japanese folktale and summarize the important points, such as who did what and what happened as a result.

In Week 1, we’ll listen to the Japanese folktale “Kasa Jizo.”

While enjoying the story, you’ll practice organizing events in order and summarizing them clearly.

Finally, you’ll write about how the story made you feel and what you think about it.

Week 2｜Listen to the News 📰

You’ll listen to a Japanese news story or a topic about Japanese society.

You’ll practice choosing the most important information and briefly summarizing what happened and why.

After that, you’ll write what you think about the topic and explain your reasons.

Week 3｜Listen to an Essay ✍️

In the final week, you’ll listen to an essay about a particular topic.

Instead of only understanding the content, you’ll listen while thinking, “What is the main message this person wants to communicate?”

After summarizing the content, you’ll write about your own experiences and thoughts related to the topic.

The feedback won’t just focus on grammar and vocabulary mistakes. You’ll also receive feedback on questions such as:

“Did you include the important information?”

“Is your summary clear and easy to understand?”

“How could you make your Japanese sound more natural?”

“How can you express your opinion more clearly?”
